We Can't Be What We Can't See with Jo Clark

Over the years, in this whirlwind of life, many of us have lost touch with who we really are. I know that was definitely my story and the story of so many women that I come across. 30 episodes in, and each episode has inspired and touched me because, like me, these women have decided to make changes. Some big, some small. Each with one small step in front of the other. Ultimately, you can spend your life in any way you like, but you can only spend it once. And in today's episode I talk about the potential of the future. The truth is by the time we reach our 40’s and 50’s, we've still got decades of life ahead of us. The idea or the story that you’re too old or it's too late isn't a reality in the vast majority of cases, and it's never too late to start pursuing your passions or making changes in your life. Listen as I discuss:

  • Adapting a growth mindset, being open to learning, trying new things and taking risks.

  • How the future can be scary and uncertain, unpredictable and starting small can really help when you’re overwhelmed or unsure. How mindset work can change old habits, patterns and thoughts.

  • Practising gratitude, meditating, journaling, and visualising to work towards your ideal future - alongside believing in yourself, your abilities and self-care.

  • The importance of movement, nutrition and getting enough sleep and rest in our midlife.

At the end of the day, surrounding yourself with a supportive community is essential to personal growth and development. Being a part of a community of women who share your values and your goals can provide encouragement, accountability and inspiration is a huge part of my motivation and dream. That is why I am excited to develop and support you through Re-Imagine - a 4 week group mentoring programme.
